In Progress

The New Science of the Mind: From Extended Mind to Embodied Phenomenology.

This book manuscript examines and defends the new paradigm for understanding mental processes that, I argue, is slowly emerging from the confluence of work in situated cognition and embodied phenomenology.

The Philosopher and the Wolf

This is the autobiography of a decade or so of my life that I was fortunate enough to spend with a wolf named Brenin. The book also deals, through the medium of this autobiography, with certain central issues in moral philosophy and moral psychology such as the nature of happiness, good and evil, wildness and civilization, love, death and the meaning of life – especially the meaning of life. Fame.

A philosophical examination of the rise and rise of what I call new variant fame. I trace its humble roots to a dispute that took place between Plato and Protagoras and was carried on in a remarkable intellectual experiment that began in eighteenth century France. Imagine Hello magazine written by Adorno and Horkheimer, and you’ll get the picture.
